ويعاني مانشستر سيتي بسبب الإصابات في الموسم الحالي وأبرزها رودري الذي سيغيب لنهايته لقطع بالرباط الصليبي للركبة مما أسفر عن نتائج سلبية جعلته يتراجع إلى المركز السابع في الدوري الإنجليزي.
هناك إصابات أخرى مثل أوسكار بوب (كسر في الساق)، روبن دياز (إصابة عضلية) ولكن غياب رودري هو المؤثر الأكبر في تشكيل جوارديولا.

With or without that FA Cup win, it became clear last season that United must welcome some fresh faces this summer, whether that be a replacement for Casemiro (in the form of the heavily linked Manuel Ugarte) or Raphael Varane, who is set to leave Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of the month. What's more, an update has emerged on the Red Devils' pursuit of a target who could finally solve their attacking problems.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ten Hag has now personally held talks with Joshua Zirkzee regarding a summer switch to Manchester United. The Bologna forward has been linked with a move in recent weeks and those at Old Trafford have until mid-August to trigger his €40m (£34m) release clause, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Still just 23 years old and impressing in Serie A, Zirkzee is certainly a player who is capable of partnering Rasmus Hojlund and providing the attacking spark that Ten Hag's side so desperately lacked last season.

Most important to this will be the arrival of more attacking players to reduce Spurs' reliance on their star men. Throughout last season's Premier League campaign only two of the Lilywhites' squad scored more than ten goals with the aforementioned Son's 17 joined by Richarlion's 11.
In an attempt to rectify this issue Spurs have entered the market for a number of fresh faces. Recent reports are suggesting that Spurs are in the front row to sign Icelandic talisman Albert Gudmundsson. The Genoa striker has long been linked with a move to N17 with a fee in the region of £30 million cited.

Spurs make move for Real Madrid man
As first reported by Sport Witness, the Spanish press are claiming that Spurs have made an initial approach to sign Real Madrid’s Brahim Díaz.
The 24-year-old is set to face fierce competition in the Los Blancos attack with the impending arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick likely to force Diaz out of Carlo Ancelotti's side. With this in mind, it appears that Madrid outfit are looking to let the Morocco international leave during the summer window.
Sport Witness goes on to state that both Spurs and Roma have made offers for Diaz but they’ve been turned down by the Spanish champions. The report claims that the deal could be for a temporary loan with Ancelotti reportedly not eager to lose the player premanently this summer.
Diaz's current deal at the Bernebau runs until the summer of 2027 with the winger pocketing a reported £119,000 weekly wage as per capology. With the attacker tied down in Madrid for the foreseeable future, it is unlikely that he will be desperate for a permanent move away during this window.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a succesful season during his most recent campaign with Madrid, contributing 12 goals and 9 assists as Los Blancos sweeped up both domestic and continental trophies.
Diaz caught the eye of the wider footballing world during this season's Champions League. Whilst Real Madird went on to win the competition, the Morroccan's personal highlight came in the round of sixteen when the winger scored the only in his side's first leg win over RB Leipzig.
Speaking on Diaz's goal, Owen Hargreaves sang Diaz's praises, with the two-time Champions League winner telling TNT Sports: "It was Messi-esque. Because of the way he can dribble and his low centre of gravity, it was just breathtaking. One of the best goals you’ll see all season. The quality of this goal is really astonishing.”
With Postecoglou's love for attacking football well known there would be few better additions to his side than Diaz, even if it is only for a season.

وبحسب الصحفي “فلوريان بليتنبيرج” من سكاي ألمانيا، فإن بوروسيا دورتموند قدم عرضاً إلى مانشستر سيتي للتعاقد مع صانع الألعاب الأرجنتيني كلاوديو إيتشيفيري.
ويسعى النادي الألماني للتعاقد مع الأرجنتيني صاحب الـ19 عاماً بشكل إعارة مبدئية مع خيار الشراء، ويملك اللاعب خيارات أخرى أيضا.
وأكدت التقارير أنه ليس من الواضح موقف مانشستر سيتي بشأن تضمين خيار الشراء في أي صفقة للاعب الأرجنتيني والذي يرتبط بالانضمام إلى جيرونا أيضاً.
وفي حالة إذا رفض مانشستر سيتي تضمين بند خيار الشراء مع دورتموند فإن ذلك سيكون إشارة واضحة إلى نيته في الاحتفاظ طويل الأمد بالجوهرة الأرجنتينية والذي قد يكون إعارته لجيرونا مناسبة بشكل أكثر مما يسمح للشاب بالبقاء ضمن إطار عمل مجموعة سيتي لكرة القدم.

The ICC announced on Thursday that the next women’s T20 World Cup, originally scheduled to be held in South Africa in November 2022, has been postponed to February 2023. Therefore only two multi-team major women’s events will be played in 2022 – the ODI World Cup in New Zealand followed by the Commonwealth Games in July, with the multi-format Ashes scheduled for the latter half of the year.According to an ICC release, the decision was made taking into consideration that there are “currently no major women’s events scheduled to take place in 2023, [so] the board confirmed the switch for the T20 World Cup to better support player preparation and to continue to build the momentum around the women’s game beyond 2022.ALSO READ: Six teams to qualify via ICC rankings for 2022 Commonwealth Games Speaking on the development, ICC CEO Manu Sawhney said: “Moving the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to 2023 makes perfect sense on a number of levels. Secondly, we can continue to build the momentum around the women’s game through 2022 and into 2023. We are committed to fueling the growth of the women’s game and today’s decision enables us to do that over the longer term.”In August, the ICC had announced that the 2021 women’s ODI World Cup, originally scheduled for February-March 2021 in New Zealand, was deferred by a year, with an eye on maintaining the “integrity of the tournament” in the wake of the disparity in the level of preparedness of the teams caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.The governing body, however, is yet to make an announcement on the fate of the inaugural Under-19 women’s World Cup, which Bangladesh are due to host in January 2021.
