While there is most notably a vacancy in central midfield following the departure of club captain and key figure Ruben Neves, McAtee could make O’Neil’s job a lot easier by fulfilling a role less identifiable in a player of such position.

One area of the Englishman’s game that could help the troubles on show at Molineux is his knack for goal-scoring, where he is recognised as being a real threat in the final third.

Last term, the Old Gold managed to net 31 goals in 38 games, ending the campaign as the league’s lowest scorers with a shocking average of just 0.82 goals per match. This is still an issue that the new Wolves boss will be faced with in the Molineux dugout.

The 20-year-old could inject a refreshing outlook on goal should he arrive in the Midlands, as suggested by his clinical prowess in the academy over the years.

Is Josh Sargent signing for Leeds?

On Friday, it was reported that Leeds' owners, 49ers Enterprises, are ready to back the club's pursuit of Sargent, given that previous American signings have really helped increase their appeal to fans in the United States.

The Whites are said to have drawn up a striker shortlist, given that Patrick Bamford is still out injured, and last season's top scorer, Rodrigo Moreno, has left for Qatar, with the Norwich striker making the cut.

It has been detailed that a bid for the 23-year-old could be expected in the coming days, with Farke well aware of his abilities due to their time working together at Carrow Road, and there are now indications the player would be keen on a move to Yorkshire.

In the latest update from Football Insider, it is detailed that the American is keen to complete a reunion with his former manager, which could hand Leeds a major boost as they look to get a deal over the line in the latter stages of the transfer window.

Norwich are reluctant to part ways with the forward, given that he is already off the mark this season, but it is believed that it would not take a huge fee to tempt them into a sale, in what could be another boost for Farke's side.

Farke was the manager to bring the USMNT international to England, signing him for Norwich from Werder Bremen for a reported £8m back in August 2021, and he is now well-placed to seal a reunion with his former player.

How good is Josh Sargent?

Lauded as "fantastic" by members of the media, the former Werder Bremen man really started to come into his own last season, weighing in with 15 goal contributions in 40 Championship games for Norwich, in a much-improved campaign in front of goal.

The versatile attacker, who is capable of playing at right-wing, struggled to find the back of the net in the prior season, scoring just two league goals, although Norwich were in the Premier League at that point, so he could still be a good signing in the second tier.

Farke is clearly a big fan of the Norwich star, given that he is now willing to sign him for the second time, and he has previously lauded him as "unbelievably bright".

That being said, the £12k-per-week forward is yet to have a prolific season in front of goal, and it could be worth Leeds also bringing in a more out-and-out goalscorer alongside him, if they can afford to do so.

At 23 years of age, however, Sargent is still developing as a player, and it is promising news that he would be keen on reuniting with Farke and moving to Elland Road, so Leeds may look to test the waters with an opening bid in the upcoming days, making this one to watch.

Every time Kuldeep Yadav floated one a little wide of off stump, down Rahane would go, lithely, onto his back knee to reverse-slap him square or reverse-paddle him fine.He didn’t always connect, and when he did he didn’t always connect cleanly, but this was a clear, concerted effort to practise the shot.”It’s important to improve your game day by day,” Rahane said on Tuesday. “When you’re practising in the nets, it is important to evolve and I am just practising. I just want to improve. The Whites must stop this rut with a few acquisitions of their own, or else watch a fanbase who deserve so much more see their frustrations boil over.

Fortunately, pundit Carlton Palmer told Football League World about one player they could sign to offset the mass exodus: "Leeds have a genuine interest in Swansea striker Joel Piroe. They need to bring a striker in, but Swansea do not want to sell and with interest from other clubs, Swansea are asking for a £20m price.

"Bamford has still not featured this season and this is a worry as he was injury-plagued last season, they need reinforcements in the attacking part of the pitch and it's not going to be cheap. In Piroe, they have a Championship proven scorer if they could get him."

How good is Joel Piroe?

Perhaps the only way to convince these top players to remain at Elland Road is to give them an incentive, with a swift return to the top flight arguably the biggest available to them.

Acquisitions such as Ethan Ampadu and Karl Darlow offer instant experience at a level above theirs, whilst the Dutchman in question has already shown his quality in the Championship to suggest he too is ready for a step up.

After all, having only left his homeland two years ago, both of his seasons in Wales have been exceptional ones.

The opening term saw the 24-year-old record 24 goals and assist a further six, almost emulating those figures the year after with another 20 strikes during the 2022/23 campaign.

Such form understandably drew praise, with writer and podcaster Benjamin Bloom leading it: "PROLIFIC PIROE," he began. "When he joined Swansea in 2021 from PSV, Joel Piroe was something of an unknown quantity. However, he took to the Championship like a duck to water and is now coming to the end of a second brilliant season".

Considering that the departures have largely been attacking players too, with Rodrigo, Harrison and Aaronson all departing, plus the fact that Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra are both absent too, and their firepower has been severely diminished over the course of just one window.

Their former Spaniard was their top scorer in the Premier League most recently and left for just £3m. Among that list too were the 12 league goal contributions of Harrison and the eight goal contributions notched by Gnonto across all senior competitions in England. Whilst not standalone outstanding numbers, their cumulative exit could prove catastrophic.

Leeds are now in desperate need of a fresh front line, both to prevent any more enforced exits and actually begin the rebuild.

There are arguably few better options on the market at present than Piroe, who Farke must act quickly to secure.

ويتواجد منتخب مصر الأولمبي في المجموعة الثالثة بجانب: “إسبانيا – ووصيف كأس آسيا 2024 تحت 23 عامًا، وجمهورية الدومنيكان”.

جدير بالذكر، أن منتخب مصر يشارك في أولمبياد باريس المقبلة، بعد تحقيق المركز الثاني في بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا تحت 23 عاماً والتي أقيمت بالمغرب.

ويخوض المنتخب الأولمبي لكرة القدم منافسات الأولمبياد للمرة الـ13 في تاريخه، بعدما قدم أفضل ظهور له في نسختي أمستردام 1928 وطوكيو 1964، حيث حقق وقتها المركز الرابع.
